Santa Clara On Demand

The City of Santa Clara’s On Demand video service allows residents to access live and archived City Council meetings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The video stream is provided in the Windows Media Player format. The media player can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft web site. A media player plugin is also available for the FireFox browser.

Macintosh users having difficulties viewing webcasts in the Windows Media format can download the Flip4Mac plug-in for QuickTime.

Some popup blocking applications may prevent the media player window from opening. Please disable your popup blocking software if you are having difficulty launching the webcast.

How to use this Site
Meetings are arranged by Upcoming Meetings and Recently Archived Meetings. When a council meeting is in progress, a ‘view live video’ link will appear to the right of the meeting date and type. Clicking on this link will open a new browser window that will display the live video feed and the associated agenda with linked reports.

Past meetings will also include a summary of actions in addition to an agenda and video. Clicking on any of the highlighted agenda items will take you to the associated point of the video.
