| Listed below are the City Council Adopted Goals for 2007-09. When completed, quarterly status reports on the accomplishment of these goals may be reviewed at the City Clerk's Office. In addition to these 2007-09 adopted goals, there are many other projects and programs that continue to be pursued by the City. The below items are those that are being highlighted at this time. |

| The City Council priority is to focus on successful completion of existing City projects, postpone new City projects and proposals, and operate within Council adopted budget principles and priorities, with the goal of guiding the City successfully through the economic downturn. |

- Emergency Communications Relocation and Electric Substation Renovations
- Complete Fire Stations #4; and Complete the General Plan Update for 2010-2025

- Affirm Commitment to Reduction of Greenhouse Gases and Development of Sustainable Renewable Energy and Green Power Resources
- Advance City's Ethics Program through Analyzing and Applying Ethical Decision-Making in City Decisions with Review of Transparent Reporting
- Create a Culture Heritage/Diversity Entertainment Theme at the All City July 4th Picnic and Fireworks Event
