Two new online features are now available from the Santa Clara City Library, thanks to financial support from the Foundation and Friends of the Santa Clara City Library.
TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking picture books, reading comprehension quizzes, and educational games for young children to teach them to read in a fun way.
Rosetta Stone Online is part of the English as a Second Language (ESL) collection. This language-learning software provides hands-on lessons on how to read, speak and understand English.
Another online change arrived this summer with modifications to the Gale Database subscription service. Five new databases are now available focused on general reference, history and reading recommendations.
Library cardholders can access all of the databases and online services through the City Library’s website at library.santaclaraca.gov.
