Drivers Education is a Life Skill class covering numerous topics related to being a safe driver and pedestrian. Students learn best through effective
classroom instruction with a credentialed teacher, maximizing the benefits of teacher-student interaction, discussion, video analysis and instant feedback.
This California State required course is needed to obtain a California Drivers Permit. Class is 28 hours long and does not include behind-the-wheel instruction.
The class meets the October 15 and 16, and October 22 and 23, from 8:30am to 4:00pm at Lick Mill Park, located at 4850 Lick Mill Boulevard, in Santa Clara.
The registration fee of $107.00 for Santa Clara residents and $132.00 for non-residents includes class instruction, all materials and completion certificate. To register, call Santa Clara Teen Center at (408) 615 3740.
