Who do you call when you have a police, fire, or medical emergency?

City Communications Dispatchers will see that help is sent quickly. If you are reporting non-emergency Police incidents, call 615-5580. If you wish to contact the Fire Department on non-emergency business, call 615-4900 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

For a small fee, some reports are available regarding emergency calls or traffic incidents in the City. For Fire Department reports, call 615-4900; for Police Department reports, call 615-4700.

Call the Police Department’s Crime Prevention unit, at 615-4859, for a free home security check and other related services. They will show you how to improve the odds against being the victim of crime.

Information on how citizens can prepare for and survive major disasters, such as an earthquake, is available through the City’s Emergency Services Office. Please call the Fire Department during normal business hours at 615-4944 for information.
