Fire Department Seeks Volunteers with Courage and Dedication

Few jobs offer the opportunity to save a life. But as a volunteer-reserve firefighter, you could be called upon to do just that at a moment's notice.

The Santa Clara Fire Department Volunteer-Reserve Division is seeking men and women who have a strong desire to help others and who possess courage and dedication to the job they do. Positions are available for both emergency response and non-emergency support. Applicants must be 18, have a safe driving record, and be a Santa Clara resident.

If you want to do something important for your community, and you are willing to take on a challenging volunteer opportunity, come down to the Fire Department headquarters at 777 Benton St. and ask for an application. For more information on the Volunteer Reserves, visit the Santa Clara Volunteers page.
