| Education and experience
equivalent to graduation from high school with two (2) years of experience
in offset printing including color and layout. |

| Typical Duties |
| Under general supervision:
operates multilith and related machines and equipment in offset reproduction
and assembly of letters, manuals, memoranda, and other manuscript
material; maintains inventory of all City printed forms; schedules
job orders for printing and reproduction; confers with Departmental
personnel concerning job orders; directs pickup, delivery, routing,
and expediting of all City mail; supervises subordinates; may be assigned
duties in the distribution of central supplies; and performs other
related duties as required. |

| Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities |
| Considerable knowledge of
the operation, adjustment, and care of offset duplicating machines
and other equipment incidental to the reproduction and assembly of
all types of finished printed materials. General knowledge of basic
principles and practices of supervision. Skills to perform layout,
stripping, and handling of photographs. Ability to: perform stores
and clerical work; and maintain cooperative working relationships
with other employees. |
