The following job opportunities are open to eligible permanent City of Santa Clara Employees only. Contract and temporary employees are not eligible for Closed/Promotional recruitments.

    As-Needed Recruitments – Temporary, Hourly Positions
    The following job opportunities are open to the general public.  Individuals hired into these positions work less than 1,000 hours per fiscal year and do not have City benefits.


      Typing Certification Information
      If the position that you wish to apply for requires a typing certificate, you must provide a typing certificate verifying your typing speed with your completed application. The City does not accept online typing certificates. Please refer to the list of local centers that you may contact to schedule an appointment for a typing test. See complete Typing Certificate list for details.

      Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
