| Education and Experience |
| Graduation from high school or possession of a GED and either six (6) months of paid experience in the operation of microfilm equipment or one (1) year of clerical experience. |

| Typical Tasks |
| Under supervision, prepares source documents for filming; operates microfilm camera monitoring input of source documents, making necessary mechanical adjustments and examining processed film for quality; indexes film for rapid retrieval; operates reader-printer; makes copies of filmed material; and performs related duties as required. |

| Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities |
| Knowledge of basic office clerical methods and procedures. Good ability to learn to operate microfilm equipment; learn to perform routine adjustments on equipment; understand and follow verbal and written directions; maintain accurate records; index material; and work cooperatively with others. |
