Santa Clara, Calif. - August 8, 2005 - Roberta Jones Junior Theatre announces auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, with music by Richard Rodgers, book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. In this wonderful adaptation, the timeless enchantment of a magical fairytale is reborn with the Rodgers and Hammerstein trademarks of originality, charm and elegance.

All children ages 8-18 are invited to audition. Those who audition should come prepared to read from the script provided and to sing a song of their own choice. All who are able to attend each rehearsal and performance, and are willing to follow the program rules, will be cast in the show.

Auditions are September 6 and 7 at 3:30-7:30 p.m. Please arrive on time and plan on staying until 7:30 p.m. Callbacks are September 8 at 4:00-7:30 p.m. (only some will need to attend). Rehearsals begin September 13 at 4:15-6:30 p.m. Rehearsals are Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. Individual schedules vary with part received. Performances are November 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 7:00 pm; November 13 and 20 at 2:00 pm. Fees are $46 for Residents of Santa Clara, $59 for Non-residents.
