The Community Recreation Center (CRC) is the hub of recreation
activities and programs for the City, serving residents of
all ages. Call the CRC to obtain the most recent copy of the
City's Recreation Activities Guide with class listings,
events, programs, and more. The Guide is distributed by mail
three times yearly to all City residents and is available online at the Activities and Classes page. Residents get first
priority for class sign-ups, and a preferable rate, where
applicable.
Santa Clara City residents or resident groups may reserve
portions of the CRC on a space available basis for receptions
and parties. Other facilities are also available for rent
(see the Facilities Rentals & Reservations page). All reservations are accepted in
person at the CRC up to four months in advance for the CRC,
park buildings, and picnic facilities at Central Park. No
reservations are taken by phone, fax or email.
A 27,000 sq. ft. Community Recreation Center building with a multi-purpose room, stage,
kitchen and activity rooms, ceramics
room and various offices. Activities held
here include: youth and adult creative arts, dance, special interest, fitness and aerobics classes, Therapeutic Recreation Services programs, Junior Theatre, Pre-Kindergarten program, class registration, facility reservations, and seasonal special events. For reservations
