The following scholarships are available through the City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department:
 
Friends of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation

This non-profit organization provides financial and volunteer support for a variety of programs and special events in the City of Santa Clara. It also provides fee assistance up to $200 per person, per calendar year, for qualifying residents for recreation programs offered by the Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department. Friends is also a support group of community volunteers who help at special events like the Fourth of July All-City Picnic or the Art & Wine Festival. Wade Brummal Youth Sports Scholarship/Grant Program
This program was developed to provide financial assistance to individuals and groups participating in youth sports within the City of Santa Clara. Wade Brummal was a Santa Clara resident who was very active and supportive of youth sports; the program was dedicated in his memory. The program provides a maximum grant of $150 for an individual 18 years old or under, or a maximum grant of $500 for a group serving Santa Clara City youth 18 years and under.
