How to Set Your Recyclables Out

  • Set your recyclables out on your designated Garbage, Clean Green, and Recycling pick-up day prior to 7:00 am.
  • Set all recycling at least 3 feet away from your Garbage and Clean Green carts, and other obstacles such as parked cars, landscaping, etc. on your designated pick up day.
  • Place recycling bins at the sidewalk curb right next to the gutter without obstructing the sidewalk and at least 3 feet away from carts. Do NOT place recycling bins on the sidewalk where they can interfere with sidewalk users. Also do NOT place recycling bins in front of carts because they will interfere with automated collection.
  • After containers are emptied, return them to the backyard or side yard until next collection day.
  • Placing your recycling behind the carts could lead to a missed pick-up due to the recycling being hidden from view.
  • Please rinse food and beverage containers and flatten plastic containers.
  • Please remove the metal lids from glass containers, and place separately in your recycling bin.
