The proposed project is to demolish the existing buildings and develop three separate multi-family buildings which include an eight-unit building, a six-unit building, and a two-unit building, resulting in 14 townhomes and a duplex building. Each townhome unit provides a two-car tandem garage. Parking for the duplex is provided as assigned covered surface parking.

Environmental Review / California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
The applicant will utilize AB130 to exempt the project from the requirements of CEQA. AB130 codifies CEQA streamlining measures from AB609, exempting qualifying infill projects from full environmental review if the proposed project meets the qualifying criteria. In accordance with subsection (c)(1), the project will be required to prepare a Phase I EA. The project will also need to complete Tribal Consultation.
