This three-part program series explores the deep connection between food, culture, and personal memory. Each session features a unique theme, a cooking demo, and creative writing prompts to help participants explore their own food stories. Participants are welcome to attend any of the sessions or all three.
Theme: The Flavor of Home
This session is all about the food we grew up with. We'll explore how specific dishes, ingredients, and smells create a sense of place and belonging. The taste of a certain meal can instantly transport us back to a childhood kitchen or a holiday gathering. We'll discuss how these early food memories shape our relationship with food and connect us to our familiar faces and cultural heritage.
Seating is first come, first served. You may register on Eventbrite to receive event reminders (optional).
