Join us on Zoom to learn how California State Parks is honoring Indigenous heritage through inclusive interpretation and community partnerships. We’ll be joined by Taylor Moore, Museum Curator I at the State Indian Museum and Sutter’s Fort State Historic Park, who will share how both sites are re-centering Native voices. Topics will include an exhibit at the State Indian Museum State Historic Park focused on the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), which celebrates the return of cultural belongings to tribal communities, and updates on a more inclusive interpretive plan at Sutter's Fort State Historic Park.
