Central Park Master Plan Update – Community Workshop #2

  • Date: 04/30/2019 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

In 2013, City Council set a goal to enhance Community Park & Recreational Assets. Building on this goal, in October 2017, Gates & Associates was contracted to assist the City with a Central Park Master Plan Update (“Plan”). The focus of the Plan has been to create a coherent vision that will integrate and guide Central Park’s future improvements by establishing a set of principles, community supported priorities and appropriate professional design criteria.  In 2018, community input was received via a community workshop and an online survey. The latest draft Plan is ready for review and the community is invited to provide input at Community Workshop #2 at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Santa Clara Senior Center, 1303 Fremont St. For more information on Park Projects, please visit SantaClaraCa.gov/parkprojects or call 408-615-2260.
