
Central Park spans 52 acres and offers a wide variety of features for families and visitors. On the west side of Saratoga Creek, you'll find spacious group and individual picnic areas, children's play areas, public restrooms, and parking. The park also includes a community amphitheater, basketball courts, 2 lightened tennis courts and the Veterans Memorial. At the heart of this side is the 30,000-square-foot Community Recreation Center, the main hub of the City's recreation programs.

Magical Bridge Playground
Magical Bridge Playground is featured at the park too! This playground is intentionally designed to be social inclusive, providing a safe and accessible outdoor play space for all, including the 1-in-4 of us living with physical and cognitive disabilities, autism, sensory challenge, as well as for the medically fragile and our aging population.

Fatjo Sports Fields
East of the creek is home to the Bob Fatjo Sports Center which includes Tony Sanchez Field and an additional lighted softball field. This area is ideal for both casual and organized sports activities.
Santa Clara Tennis Center, International Swim Center, Lawn Bowling Green, and Central Library
The park's east side also includes a lawn bowling green, exercise course, open green spaces, a scenic lake, and the Central Park Library, offering relaxing and engaging spaces for all ages.
You can also find the Santa Clara Tennis Center, featuring eight lighted tennis courts and a practice wall. It's a popular destination for tennis players of all skill levels.
Avenue of Flags
On designated holidays, 57 U.S. flags are proudly displayed along the Kiely Blvd in front of the Central Park as part of Santa Clara's "Avenue of Flags." These flags were donated by the Mission City Community Fund, with support from the Veterans of Foreign Wars. An additional 21 flags are displayed at the City cemetery during these times.
