This 0.3-acre mini park commemorates the Battle of Santa Clara and marks the City’s Sesquicentennial (1852-2002), and the State of California’s Sesquicentennial (1850-2000).
On December 1, 2006, it was re-dedicated in honor of Geoffrey C. "Geof" Goodfellow, Santa Clara's former Director of Planning & Inspection, recognizing his 34 years of service to the city. This park is being managed by Public Works Department.
