Mary Gomez Park is an eight-acre neighborhood park that offers a variety of recreational amenities and open space of community use. It is named in honor of Mary Gomez, a dedicated Santa Clara Unified School District teacher who played a key role in developing the City's Parks & Recreation Department. She also served on its first commission, which helped shape the vision of placing a park in every neighborhood.

The park includes a seasonal swimming pool, open during summer for recreational swimming and lessons.
