Warburton Park is a six-acre community space named in 1962 in honor of Austen Warburton, a lifelong Santa Clara resident and civic leader known as "Mr. Santa Clara." A descendant of a pioneer California family, he served the city as a Planning Commissioner, Council Member, and Regent of Santa Clara University.
The park includes the Warburton Swim Center, which is open during summer for recreational swimming and lessons. The facility includes both a main pool and a smaller pool, with off-street parking available for visitors.
Warburton Park also offers open space and a variety of recreational features, making it a well-loved destination for residents.
