About Agnews Historic Cemetery
- This cemetery was first used after 1906, with burials continuing through the 1960s.
- There are no burials from the 1906 earthquake at this cemetery.
- Forty-one of the earthquake victims from Agnews are buried at Mission City Memorial Park, located on Winchester Boulevard.
- There is a dedicatory plaque to these earthquake victims located near the Mission City Memorial Park offices.
About the Museum
- A museum to remember the lives of the people that worked and lived at the Agnews State Hospital and later Agnews Developmental Center from 1888 to 2009.
- Artifacts and photos of the past are displayed for the public to view.
