On December 30, 2019 Public Safety Dispatchers received a call regarding a woman unresponsive on the floor of her home.

Public Safety Dispatchers, Natalie and Andrea, guided a family member through medical protocols, including communicating how to perform CPR instructions, while deploying Police and Fire personnel. Meanwhile, Police Officers Busmire and Telles responded on scene. The duo administered CPR for several minutes before Fire personnel arrived. Miraculously, due to their efforts the woman regained a pulse and began breathing before being transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Early intervention in a medical emergency is critical for survival.  Public Safety Dispatchers, Police Officers and Firefighters are highly trained, conducted a swift diagnosis and leaped into action to save the victim’s life.

All of the involved personnel will be honored at the Police Department’s Annual Awards Ceremony in 2020.
