Weather Alert Update: Heat Advisory Issued for Memorial Day through Thursday

Heat AdvisoryLatest Update (2:45 p.m., 5/24/2020): The National Weather Service (NWS) has now issued a Heat Advisory. It's valid from 11 a.m. Monday, May 25 through 7 p.m. Thursday, May 28. Per the NWS forecast, the hottest days will be Tuesday and Wednesday.

Update (9:45 a.m., 5/24/2020): The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an excessive heat watch for the Bay Area that goes into effect on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 through Thursday, May 28 due to the increased risk of heat-related illness. 

For Sunday, May 24, the warming trend continues today as temperatures rise another few to several degrees over yesterday's rise. According to NWS, Tuesday and Wednesday continue to look like the hottest days.
