First 5's vision is to act as a catalyst for ensuring that the developmental needs of children ages 0-5 are a priority in all sectors of the community. Their mission is to support the healthy development of children ages 0-5 and enrich the lives of their families and communities. In order to support this mission, First 5's agenda includes providing health access, family support, early care and education, neighborhood support, and systems change.
