• Solar PV plans shall be included with the building permit package if applicable. It is not allowed as a deferred submittal.

When prefabricated trusses are proposed, plans must be accompanied by truss calculations and details.

A geotechnical investigation report shall be submitted for new residential buildings, locations in hillside areas, locations with questionable soil characteristics, expansive soil, earthquake fault zones, liquefaction zones, landslide zones, or as required by the Building Official.

When the proposed work is new construction or a substantial improvement in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the project shall comply with the Santa Clara Flood Damage Prevention Codes.
