In order to receive free professional help from trained counselors on your rights, responsibilities and options as a tenant or a landlord you may reach out to Project Sentinel. Project Sentinel is a Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) approved housing counseling agency. - The Santa Clara County Emergency Assistance Network (EAN) provides critical homelessness prevention resources to eligible households at risk of homelessness in the Santa Clara community. The network provides a variety of services to prevent homelessness, utility disconnections, and hunger. Assistance is based on Zip Code residence. The Regulatory Barriers Clearinghouse (RBC) serves as a forum for sharing ideas and solutions. State, local governments, and other organizations seeking information about laws, regulations, and policies affecting the development, maintenance, improvement, availability, and cost of affordable housing. RBC is a stand-alone component of HUD USER, an information clearinghouse produced by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Policy Development & Research.
