The City is working alongside Berkeley-based consultant MIG, Inc. to develop a Specific Plan for the Patrick Henry Drive area in northern Santa Clara. The General Plan designated this site a Future Focus Area in which several existing office parks would be transformed into a cohesive, high-density mixed-use community that fosters economic vitality, helps ameliorate the State’s housing shortage, and enhances quality of life for those who live, work, and recreate in the area.
The planning process is still in its early stages. After conducting a range of prerequisite studies and existing conditions analyses, the MIG Team will proactively elicit input from members of the community to help formulate initial land use alternatives, design guidelines, and mobility concepts for the Specific Plan.
