SCFD PatchThe Santa Clara Fire Department was established in 1854 when local residents formed the Columbia Hose Volunteer Fire Company. Today, the City has nine fire stations (one more in design process) consisting of eight engines, two trucks, one rescue/light unit, one hazardous materials unit, one ambulance, and two command vehicles. The Fire Department is structured into several divisions to provide efficient emergency response and ensure community safety.
