New Enhancements to Permitting Online Portal!
The City of Santa Clara has launched an updated Permitting Online Portal with permit assistant features that include:
- A modern interface and design
- A guided help tool, Permit Assistant, that helps lead the user to the correct permit type and process
- Access to required documents and forms prior to starting the application process
- Resources to help you find the information you need
New Fire Permit Applications
- Permit applications are only accepted online through our new online permitting portal.
- Please allow sufficient time for permit processing.
- See the Fire Department Permit Application Form for details.
Code Requirement or Plan Checking Information
- Submit any questions or requests by email to crrd@santaclaraca.gov.
- Make sure to review the Permit Guidelines below ]prior to contacting CRRD staff for information regarding permit submittal requirements.
- Use the Overtime Plan Review Request Form to request overtime plan review.
Inspection Scheduling
- All inspections are scheduled through the online permitting portal.
- Please use this Overtime Inspection Request Form to request an overtime inspection.
