Programs that will continue, based on the ability to conform to County Public Health Department guidelines of maximum social distancing, handwashing, no physical contacts, frequent sanitizing pre and post program, health check ins, are:

  • Lunch program at Santa Clara Senior Center from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. A “to go” option will be available for those who need it. Please call the Front Desk at 408-615-3170 if you need to schedule appointments or would like to order lunch “to go”.
  • Playgrounds and park restrooms.

Spring/Summer Session Registration

  • Resident online registration begins Thursday, Feb. 27 at 12:01 a.m.
  • Non-resident online registration begins Tuesday, Mar. 3, at 12:01 a.m.
  • Walk-in registration begins the week of Mar. 9, 2020
  • Spring Classes begin the week of Mar. 29, 2020.
  • Summer Classes begin the week of Jun. 7, 2020.

  • Walk-in registration can be completed at the following locations:

  • Registration is first-come, first-served.
  • Fill out and bring a Registration Form, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk Agreement and proof of residency (City of Santa Clara residents) to one of the above locations.
  • Payment accepted by credit card, cash or check. 
  • Mail-in Registration is accepted and is processed as time permits.

Am I a resident?

For program registration a resident is someone who:

  • Resides in the City of Santa Clara or a child who resides within the SCUSD boundaries.
  • Owns property in the City of Santa Clara or a child who residents within the SCUSD boundaries.
  • Is a child with grandparents living in the City of Santa Clara.

Proof of residency includes:

  • Current California Driver’s License or ID 
  • Current Utility bill
  • Property tax bill
  • Pre-printed checks
  • Current vehicle registration
