Youth Basketball Program 

The Saturday Youth Basketball Program is designed to introduce participants to the basic fundamentals of basketball through recreation games, drills, and exercises. This 4-week coed instructional program, held at the Youth & Teen Center, will emphasize basic basketball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and more! Check back for updates on upcoming sessions.

High School & Adult Basketball Open Gym

Join us for this drop-in program on Wednesday nights! Come and enjoy the game of basketball in a fun environment for everyone seeking recreation & fitness. Youth membership or Adult activity passes are required for participation. Dates may be subject to change.

Summer Camps at the Youth & Teen Center

Summer days filled with sports and recreation games. Campers enjoy making new friends, a walking trip to Warburton Pool, field trips, and more! After Camp Care and Summer Open Gym are available. Check back with us in spring 2026 for more information.

Kids Rock 

Kids Rock is a special event for K-5th grade kids that includes music, bounce house fun, arts and crafts, recreation games, pizza, and YAC fun! Athletic shoes, good attitudes, and pre-registration is required. Register for Kids Rock today.

Rec City Nights

Middle & high school students with a current Resident Youth Card come hang out at Rec City Nights, an event packed with games, activities, DJ music, and video games. More events to come in the next school year!

To the Bridge: Music Hour

Come enjoy music, activities, and arts & crafts at the Magical Bridge Playground, 909 Kiely Blvd. on select Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5 p.m.

A Resident Youth Card Membership is required to participate in the following:

• Youth & Teen Center After-School Program
• Skate Park
• Reed & Grant Sports Park Drop-In Play
• Summer Open Gym
• Summer Recreational Swim Program

Membership Details:

• Cost: $30 per school year
• Membership renewal is required at the beginning of each school year

Current 2024/2025 Resident Youth Card holders will be given a grace period to use their membership for the beginning of the 2025/26 school year.

The 2025/26 Resident Youth Card Memberships will be available for purchase:

• Online: Starting Aug. 4, 2025 at santaclaraca.gov/activenet
• In-person: Starting Aug. 11, 2025 at the Youth & Teen Center
