What is a Master Plan?

We are developing a comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan to guide the future of Santa Clara’s parks, facilities, and recreational services over the next 10 to 15 years. This strategic document will provide a long-term framework to improve, protect, and expand the City’s parks and recreation system while ensuring it meets community needs now and into the future.

Past Events

The planning team held pop-up events at the city’s Concerts in the Park, Street Dance, and Art & Wine Festival, as well as at the Northside Library, Pruneridge Shopping Center, and Parade of Champions. A community meeting was held on June 25, 2025 and a survey was open the public until Aug. 2025. No additional pop-up events are currently planned.
