Drop-In Programs
An Activity Pass is required for all drop-in programs - and it gives you access to even more ways to stay active!
Beginning on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, Reed & Grant Sports Park will offer limited drop-in hours based on field availability.
Temporary Drop-In hours: Tuesday from 8-10 p.m., Friday from 8-10 p.m., and Sunday from 11a.m.- 2p.m.
*All drop-in times are subject to change based on field availability.

To join our lap swim program, participants must be at least 13 years old and hold a valid Activity Pass or Senior Center Premium Membership.
For adults aged 50 and older, the Senior Center Premium Membership offers access to our lap swim sessions - an excellent way to stay active and engaged at the Senior Center Natatorium.

City Neighborhood Park Tennis Courts
The City of Santa Clara operates and maintains neighborhood park tennis courts for public drop-in use. Professional instruction and league play is prohibited except by written permit from City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation. The tennis courts are available on a pay-as-you-play basis during prime time hours and are free during other open park hours. The Santa Clara Tennis Center features 8 lighted tennis courts, court reservation service, stringing service, and ball machine service, and offers private and group lessons.
Rise & Rally: Early-Bird Senior Tennis (Pilot Program)
Enjoy free, drop-in tennis for senior residents (50+) with a Senior Premium Membership!
Monday–Thursday | 7–9 a.m. at the Santa Clara Tennis Center
Courts 5 & 6 are available for informal doubles or casual play.
Members are limited to two total guest passes for non-member players.
No reservations needed; first come, first serve.
Overflow and membership checks managed by Lifetime Activities.

During summer and non-school hours, programs, lessons, and reserved use will be available.
Summer Hours: Monday - Sunday | 7 a.m. - sunset.

Tennis Court Rules
These rules exist for the purpose of maintain City of Santa Clara tennis courts and providing an opportunity for all to use.
- Tennis court hours are from sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. Lit courts close at 10 p.m.
- Tennis courts are to be used for tennis only. No other sports (including soccer tennis) shall be played on tennis courts, nor shall nay of the following be used on tennis courts including but not limited to wheeled shoes, skateboards, in-line skates, bicycles, dogs, etc.
- No food or drinks, other than water, allowed on courts.
- The following are prohibited around the courts: alcoholic beverages, glass containers, pets, smoking or amplified sound.
- Non-marking shows must be worn.
- Tennis courts may not be used for league or lessons without the possession of a City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation issued permit.
- Players awaiting the arrival of an opponent may not hold court.
- Court time including rallying or practicing, is limited to 1.5 hour time limit for singles or doubles. Time cannot be extended by adding or substituting players.
- A maximum of 6 balls and 4 players per court.

Golf Programs & Services
The City of Santa Clara has a special agreement with the City of Sunnyvale. This allows Sunnyvale to offer golf programs and services to Santa Clara residents. Residents can receive resident rates at Sunnyvale golf courses with proper identification.
