The Americans with Disabilities   
Act (ADA) Committee is made up of community members and local groups. These groups include VIA Rehabilitation, Hearing Loss Association of America and the Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC). They work together to make City of Santa Clara buildings, programs and services easier for people with disabilities to use. 

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) helps the City Council understand the needs of people who walk and bike. It supports better and safer bike lanes, sidewalks, and walking paths in Santa Clara.
