The Americans with Disabilities   
Act (ADA) Committee is composed of community individuals and organizations such as VIA Rehabilitation Hearing Loss Association of America and the Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) to review accessibility issues. 

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) is an advisory committee to the City Council on matters relative to the needs of bicyclists and pedestrians in Santa Clara. Its goal is to encourage recreational bicycling, commuter bicycling, and pedestrian activities by promoting safe, convenient, well-designed facilities.
