Key Responsibilities

• Process Encroachment Permits and agreements for work done on public streets and sidewalks
• Keep official records for property lines, parcel, utility and tract maps, surveys, and public easements on private property
• Check and approve public improvement plans and subdivision maps
• Review and prepare Title Documents, including lot line adjustments and public easements
• Participate in the Project Clearance Committee and Subdivision Committee meetings
• Review new development projects and set Public Works conditions of approval
• Determine and collect applicable Public Works development fees
• Check sites to determine Public Works requirements before building permits are issued
