2025 Annual Street Maintenance & Rehabilitation Project

Street Maintenance

Construction will begin in late June on the 2025 Annual Street Maintenance and Rehabilitation Project by the City’s contractor, Radius Earthwork Inc. The improvement work will take place throughout the city street network.

Work for the replacement of failed pavement areas will begin in late June and will continue through November 2025, with final project completion anticipated in December 2025.

The project consists of removing and replacing failed pavement areas, constructing new ADA-compliant curb ramps, installing hot mix asphalt, applying slurry seal surface treatments, and replacing pavement markings. This work will take place throughout the City Street network. Some of the major streets in this year’s pavement rehabilitations are as follows:

1. Warburton Avenue between Lawrence Expressway and San Tomas Expressway
2. Cabrillo Avenue between Lawrence Expressway and Calabazas Blvd.
3. Calle De Primavera, Fairway Glen Drive and Hogan Drive
4. Los Olivos Avenue between Homestead Road and Forbes Avenue
5. Pomeroy Avenue between El Camino Real and Homestead Road
6. Washington Street between Poplar Street and Newhall Street

Traffic Advisory:

Please be advised of upcoming lane closures and traffic delays due to scheduled utility adjustments, loop replacements, and striping activities.

Road Construction What to Expect

  • Typical construction work hours will be Monday – Friday,
    7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • No parking signs will be posted on barricades 72 hours prior to work.
  • Avoid being towed in no parking zones by moving cars to driveways or other streets.
  • Expect possible delays and rough driving surfaces. Drive slowly through construction zones.
  • Traffic flow may be affected during construction hours.
  • At periods of construction, some traffic lanes will be closed.
  • Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
  • Garbage & recycling collection dates/days should not be affected; however, the time of day may change, usually earlier.
