On January 7, 2020, the City received a written petition regarding traffic calming noise/sideshow issues along Briarwood Drive between Cabrillo Avenue and Warburton Avenue (see location map). On February 11, 2020, the City Council discussed the written petition and residents discussed their concerns. City Council then directed City staff to return to City Council to provide an update on the issues related to Briarwood Avenue. The City completed a traffic engineering study and on June 3, 2020, the City held a virtual community meeting to discuss the results of the study. Below are informational links.

The City Council is tentatively scheduled to discuss Briarwood Drive Traffic Calming at the July 7, 2020 City Council meeting.
