Our Urban Forest
There are over 10,500 City street trees in Santa Clara. Santa Clara has been designated a Tree City USA since 1987. With your help, we hope to continue to do so for many more years.
Requesting a New City Tree
All tree planting on City easements must be performed or approved by the City. After planting, the property owner is responsible for watering and fertilizing the tree. If you wish to have a City tree planted on your property, fill out an online service request form or call 408-615-3080.
