California law requires that the City of Santa Clara review and update its Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) every five years. 

2020 UWMP Update

The purpose of this document is to update the information in the City's 2015 UWMP. The UWMP provides an overview of the City's current and long-term water supplies, future water needs of the City, and the City's water conservation programs.

Following a public hearing on June 22, 2021, the City Council adopted the 2020 UWMP and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP).
