About the Bond Compliance Oversight Committee
As required by Measure I, the Bond Compliance Oversight Committee ensures transparency and accountability in the implementation of Measure I projects. The Commitee is anticipated to meet 3-4 times per year.
The role of the Bond Compliance Oversight Committee is to:
- Ensure that project implementation aligns with all bond measure requirements, including the terms of the Expenditure Plan.
- Review and report on annual audits.
- Review and provide recommendations to the City Council on any proposed amendments to the Expenditure Plan.
- Inform the public about the expenditure of bond proceeds.
The Committee will consist of (9) nine members.
City of Santa Clara Residents: (7) seven total residents of the city of Santa Clara, representing the following with the initial term limits*
*All members are eligible to serve up to two full 4-year terms.
City of Santa Clara Business Representatives: (2) Two representatives with the initial term limits*
*All members are eligible to serve up to two full 4-year terms.
Recruitment for Large Business Representative for Committee

Eligibility Requirements:
- 50 or more employees at the business
- Must be the Owner (Provide an Active Business License Certificate in City of Santa Clara) or an Employee (Provide confirmation of employment letter)
- Business must have physical headquarters in the City of Santa Clara
- Did not previously work for a firm that provides services to any professional sports teams within the City of Santa Clara.
