2020 City Council Priority Setting Session
The City Council held a two-day goal and priority setting session on Thursday, Jan. 30 and Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 in the Redwood Room at the Central Park Library (2635 Homestead Rd.) from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (times subject to change). During these sessions, the Mayor and City Council discussed and established citywide goals that will help focus the City’s initiatives and resources. These priorities will set the policy framework for budget decisions and how City resources are aligned to support these objectives.
The City Council will consider the priorities from these sessions during their annual budget process, starting in May 2020. They will review the priorities and evaluate whether to allocate resources in the upcoming budget to support them. The City's FY2020-2021 Annual Operating Budget will be formally adopted at the June 23, 2020 City Council meeting.
